This weekend coming up better be exciting. Ahem. I mean this Saturday coming up will be exciting.
-Driving School (not exactly exciting, but at least is something)
-Bean Bag Adventure in Toronto
-Samias Birthday Dinner

Other then that this weekend will be filled with room cleaning and catching up on MOD...

Oh and I may non-pernamently dye my hair red so Beth will stop calling me a lazy irish or something...

In other news I'm still listening to White Sparrows by Billy Talent, I feel like I can connect with this song so much, its just that good.

Heres a cute song for you: "Do you have the nessessary materials?" "for what?" "for building something" "building what?" "ITS A BRICK HOUUUUSE"

I think I've figured out what tattoo I want to get. I have always wanted something to do with music, as music is one of the most important things in my life and it has gotten me through so much. I was looking at music notes (cliche), microphones (looks like a penis), old school microphones (too cartoony), gutair (doesnt accent music as a whole), drums (poser ish) etc. Then it hit me while listening to "White Sparrows" by Billy Talent. Billy Talent is one of my favourite bands, then I thought oh a white sparrow would be cute, so I googled it. Yeah its cute, but a white bird would be kind of boring. Then I was thinking that blues and greens would look really good on me cause I'm pale (haha) so I googled blue and green bird tattoo. And some popped up, and its called a songbird! Thats perfect, because it represents my love for nature aswell as my love for music, pluss it will look really good on my right shoulder blade :) Once I find a cute enough picture I will post it!

Okay this is going to be really quick, because its late (NAHT) and I need a lot of sleep otherwise I fall asleep in Media...haha

Soooo, I finished my new historicism essay (whadda bitch), auditioned for one acts, decided when I'm semi dyeing my hair again, conquored walking to school after the blizzard, registered for driving school, bought new shoes (really cute converse $20!),extracted DNA from a banana, sprayed silly string on grade 9s, discovered I now have over $1000 in my bank again, watched Canada beat germany, started my first in class day with my grade 9 drama class, taught dance class, and put my hair in a bun about 300 times within the evening. There you go, my day in a nutshell.

Oh, but I still havent been able to paint my nails a really cute blue colour. Maybe after my shower?

Holy Catfish Batman!
I was so busy yesterday I totally forgot about my blog! To make up for it this is going to be a extra special post!

First off, Canada won yesterday! Sid the Kid with the winning shootout goal against Switzerland, oh boy was it intense. Next, I played COD for the first official time, and I'm addicted. I'm buying it soon. PS3 ftw!

Today I went shoppping and bought the cutest dress for a hostessing job. Okay, so I haven't exactly gotten the hostessing job YET, but as soon as a position is available I'm in. Plus the dress is so cute I couldn't resist! AND it was only $15!!

I've noticed something. Remember my last post about how I don't get crushes anymore? Well, I think its back. I go to bed everynight thinking about this person, and when I wake up hes the first person I think about. I don't understand why, but it is. Crush? Obsession? YOU decide.

I also wanted to write about this for a long time. A fact once stated that at any givin moment 6 people are thinking about you. I like to think about who others are thinking about. And before I go to bed, I like to think about every single person I know and say a positive about them. I list 2 or 3 positives for the "less popular" people (I hate using lables, sorry!). I feel like not many people would ever think about them, so I like to spend extra long thinking time on them, haha. Kind of a little obsession I have.

Another thing I wanted to talk about was my leadership class. We are in the middle of presenting assignments of Inspiration Moments, and you could choose a song, poem, quote, movie, etc. What suprised me is how comfortable my peers are with our class. We hardly know eachother, yet many people are willing to share very personal aspects of their life. There were stories about death, overcoming cancer, any many sad stories that a certain song, quote, etc have gotten them through that time. I personally am not ready to share any of my hardships with people, and I don't think I ever will be. Its just the way I am. I know it may not be the healthiest way to bottle everything up, but its what I do. My blog post "a little deep, a little trauma" was probably the most I have ever shared out of the dark times in my life, and that was one of the most difficult things I have ever written about publicly. I don't even talk to my parents or best friends about some issues, but I just remember. I am not a victim, I am empowered.

When sign makers go on strike is there anything written on their signs?

Sorry for the short post yesterday, game was on and I didn't want to miss it!

I don't know if you have heard about the hockey player Wendell Clark (one of the greatest hockey players...of all time.) but he recently opened a restaurant in my home town. Right across the street from where I work. Of course my managment isn't happy about this, but I went to check it out anyways. The atmosphere is amazing. It is a sports bar, so every booth has a flat screen TV...from where I was sitting I could see 4 different big screens. It is bright and there is a huge mural of the greatest sports heros ever (Tiger Woods wasn't on there...suprise suprise). The food however, was crap. There were no vegetarian options except appys, and the steak was really dry (apparently). However, the appetizers were good, and it is a perfect place to go to watch "the game".

The second thing I wanted to blog about today is kinda childish. Crushes. I notice now that when I was in grades 7-9, I had crushes that were extreme. I would think about them, blush when I saw them, and I would like them for months straight. Now however, I don't get crushes. I look at some guy and say "Oh hes hot I have a mad crush on him", but I say that probably about once a day. Every day to a different guy. Haha. Now I'm not saying I'm shallow, I also say this "I have a crush" thing to a bunch of different varietys of males that arnt per say "Good looking". I don't know.

I need a vacation.

Ta Ta For Now.

well, its officially been a week since I started this project. I still got a while to go!

Yesterday was a busy one at work, many couples being all lovey dovey and holding hands, etc. By mid shift I decided that I hate Valentines Day, haha.

uhhh today I really did nothing. I woke up, showered, then turned on the tv and watched snowboarding. Whats really exciting is Mike Robertson won a silver medal for cross snowboarding!!! That brings our medal count to 1-2-1. But just wait, with hockey we'll go waay up :)

So I don't really know what else to write about today, but I just got this email about answering questions with one word, so I'll put it here.

  • Where is your cell phone? Pants
  • Your hair? Messy
  • Your dream last night? Sexy
  • Your favourite drink? Water
  • Where were you last night? Drinking
  • Wishlist item? Beanbagchair
  • Friends? Many
  • Where do you go over and over? Starbucks

T minus 8 minutes till I start to walk to work. On Valentines day. The busiest day of the year.
I dont even really understand Valentines Day. Its basically a day where people in loooove get to celebrate their love. Don't they do that every day already when they make out in front of me at school? And what about the people that arn't in love? Why don't they get a day? Well, I guess we have happy hour, but thats every day so its not really that special.

I went to the mall today and for the first time did not buy anything! I went looking for a nice Olympic sweater (all sold out, great) then to the body shop and I almost bought COD, but my brother was underage so we couldn't use his money (WTF!). I did however, get a lovely panini over at Williams coffee pub. New favourite sandwhich? Heck yes. Grilled Vegetables and goat cheese.

Anyways, Congrats to my boy Jean Philippe Le Guellec for coming in 6th place in todays Biathlon. He will compete again in 2 days. Also, snowboarding events start tomorrow! So Excited!!! I find that all snowboarders are sooo hot...until they take their goggles off. Then it drops down to 75%. Still excited :)

Happy Consumerist Day! Hallmark will be thanking you all.

"Hi, do you have any Zupdawgs?"
"Whats Zupdawg?"
"Oh not much"

Last night was the first Friday shift that I've enjoyed in a long time. Being in the back, kareokieing, and cracking jokes makes the biggest difference. I am so glad that I work in such a positive environment that I can actually laugh and be myself in. One of my employees said "Jenny! You are so the girl from Waiting!". So I rented the movie, kicked back with a few and laughed my guts out.

I don't know if you've seen Waiting, but if you have ever worked in the restaurant industry it is a must see. I don't even remember the plot, or if it really had one, but it is basically this kids first day on the job and a server (Ryan Reynolds!) is explaining everything to him. Everything from him trying to hook up with the underage hostess (thats who I'm supposed to be) to the ball sack showing game. Plus Ryan Reynolds takes his shirt off in the first 5 mins, what not to love!

I sure you have all heard about the luge athlete from Georgia, what a terrible way to start off the games. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Georgia Olympic team, and all of Nodar Kumaritashvili's friends and family.

On a lighter note, I want this t-shirt. http://www.bustedtees.com/geometryisforsquares

With the end of a shampoo bottle comes the end of an era. Goodbye John Freida Brilliant Brunette, Hello Body Shop banana bottle! I also bought new body wash: Fuzzy Peach. It smells amazing!

Olympic Opening ceremonies today!!! I went to Vancouver 2 years ago and saw the site and a few places where events are being held. I remember thinking "2010 is so far away! I need to save up money for a plane ticket!" haha well, that never happened, and time certainly flies.

Undulate: To move or to cause to move in a wavy motion.

People always come in and out of your life and they all have a specific reason to. For this one person, its to torture me. Yes, we did have a history together, but I'm over that. For some reason, he doesn't say so. All I want to say is, I am not a booty call. Now I wish I could delete you from my life like I have deleted all my spelling errors in this post.

On the bright side, day 1/5 is completed. Work wasn't that bad last night, it was just really dull and my tips are gonna suck. However Valentines day tips better be amazing. My plan is to go to Toronto on monday and buy a bean bag chair! I will post pics later of the adventure :)

Happy Thursday.

Snow Snow Snow! Walking to school in some boots with heels isn't exactly the safest way to get somewhere, but whats done is done.

Today I start day 1 of a 6 day madness. Valentines day weekend is coming up at work, which is our busiest day/weekend of the entire year. And lucky me, being single I have been chosen to work all days yaaay. At least tip pool will be good.

I decided a couple months ago that I wanted to grow my hair then donate it, since it grows so damn fast anyways. I have always been reluctant to dye it or get layers because the Canadian Cancer Society didn't accept hair with eigther. Recently though, I found a new charity that will accept hair with layers and dye! And as a result, I now have layers :) I am still not sure if I am going to dye it or now, but for now I am playing around with the Colour Pulse brand. We'll see if I like any colours enough to do it pernamently.

The last thing I wanted to write about was the new project I have in my leadership class. Find someone/something inspirational, and write about it. There are so many inspirational people in our world its hard to choose. First thought was Craig Kielburger, but after some researching I found it was hard to get a good quote. Then I looked at Obama. He has some pretty amazing quotes, but its not him that said them, its his speech preparer person. (Lovley english, I know). So I will continue researching, and see how it goes.

Well, Hello there. Its been a while.
I am starting a new blog project: I am going to try to blog everyday. What I'm listening to, a picture, update, whatever. I figured with my spare I could at least do something creativly productive, So here goes.

I'm loving my new semester. Everyone says Media studies is something you take when you'd rather be high, but I am really enjoying it, I think its because I want to go into that industry when I'm older. Bio is sooo chill, with a class of 18 people, it can't not be chill. Leadership is a bird course (you fly though it!), Im placed in a grade 9 drama class which will be fun. Film and Lit is the harder version of Media, its the history of why films were made, etc.

Im going to go watch some Tim Burton movies now.
