Happy unimaginative, consumerist-oriented and entirely arbitrary, manipulative and shallow interpretation of romance day

The Upside:

Promotion. Raise. Getting a spot in the play. Piercings. Shopping only for myself. Filming to make a difference. Cute boys flirting. Cute boys buying you a drink. Getting lost and winding up in a beautiful place. Holding hands. Finding the perfect dress. Not needing a boyfriend on this stupid holiday.

The Downside:

People never change.

First Day

First day back at school sucks for everyone, but its even harder when its a new school. Between trying not to write my nickname from Trailhead on my pieces of paper to avoiding past enimies to getting lost and disoriented to missing 19 of your best friends, all in all it was a mission. Welcome to normal school, baby.
